Read MoreStudents who perform exceptionally well on the AMC 10/12 are invited to continue participating in the AMC series of examinations that culminate with the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). The AIME is followed by the USA Mathematical Olympiad and Junior Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO and USAJMO).
The AIME I will be held on February 6th and the AIME II will be held on February 12th. Students cannot take both the AIME I and AIME II.
These webinars will be led by RSM MCP teachers and are specifically designed for students who have qualified for the AIME. The webinars will review the AIME structure, key topics including combinatorics, probability, and number theory, and will explore real AIME problems from previous years. AIME Preparation Webinar; Combinatorics & Probability: Saturday, January 25th from 4-6pm EST
This webinar will explore the structure of the AIME test and introduce the main topics with brief examples. We’ll then dive deeper into two foundational areas: combinatorics and probability. Throughout the session, we’ll work through a variety of example problems, showcasing multiple solution approaches to enhance your understanding.
AIME Preparation Webinar; Number Theory: Saturday, February 1st from 4-6pm EST
This webinar is focused on the essential topic of number theory. We'll explore some of the most insightful problems, provide a curated list of practice questions, and wrap up with a collaborative practice session. Together, we'll tackle selected AIME problems from recent years, demonstrating effective problem-solving strategies in real-time.
