Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing

We are happy to share that RSM Newton is now a Cambridge Admissions Testing Facility - one of the only two testing centers in Massachusetts!

Many prestigious universities, particularly in the UK and Europe, use tests to select applicants with the greatest potential for success. Depending on your chosen institution and course, students may need to take an admissions test as part of their application (some joint degree courses require students to take two tests). As well as being an entry requirement, Cambridge Admissions tests give students the opportunity to enhance their selection and show their potential to succeed in their course.

Developed as a result of extensive research, the tests provide universities, organizations, and governments with a fair measure of skills and aptitude. The Cambridge Admissions test is based on six key principles:

• Selection based on evidence of potential
• Application of existing knowledge and skills 
• Collaborative working
• Quality assurance and fairness
• A broad view of admissions

The RSM Newton test center now offers a variety of tests including assessments necessary for entry into medicine, engineering, mathematics, and languages such as BMAT, ELAT, MAT, STEP, TMUA, the University of Cambridge Pre-interview Assessments, and University of Oxford Admissions Tests.

By being an official test center, RSM Newton joins a global network of centers in over 150 countries, making the test more accessible to students in the greater Vancouver area.
